Structural Calculations

Any alteration of a structural element of your property, such as new openings, roof conversions, and extensions are likely to require some form of structural support.  By experience a builder will often know the structural requirements but these should be properly designed by a certified Structural Engineer in accordance with the Building Regulations.

Step 1 – Plans

By assessment of your plans we are able to provide a professional set of certified calculations to give you the confidence that your builder is using the correct method of construction along with the required size of structural elements.  If you do not already have plans available we provide a free consultation process to discuss your work.

Step 2 – Building Regulation Approval

Any structural alteration requires Building Regulation approval by the Local Authority.  We are able to guide you through this process which can be frustrating and unnecessarily complex for the uninitiated!

Step 3 – Building Works

We can provide and on – site supervision service throughout the duration of your project to provide advice and guidance to your builder on specific building details.  This gives you and your builder peace of mind and ensures compliance with Building Regulation requirements.
