To achieve the home improvements your desire, it’s important to prepare properly from the start.  With a complete set of plans you will be able to get accurate building estimates for your work and get the legal process of Planning and Building Regulation Approvals as required.

Step 1 - Free Consultation on site with our friendly surveyor

It’s handy at this point to prepare any sketches if your able to of your ideas, particularly overall sizes – especially with kitchen layouts which might have specific requirements for appliances or units.

Step 2 – Sketch Plans

Our surveyor will prepare some initial sketches to agree layouts, dimensions and overall appearance of your proposed home improvements for your approval before preparation of detailed plans.  We will also be able to advise at this point of any necessary structural alterations required, what planning permission may be required or other approvals such as Listed Building Consent. 

Step 3 - Design for Planning and Building Regulation approval

With approval of sketch proposals, we will provide detailed plans and drawings for Planning and Building Regulation approval as required.  The plans will be submitted along with specifications and any structural calculations and we will get the approvals on your behalf to manage any technical queries raised by the Local Authorities
